Jared Kettler
Born and raised in Southern California, Jared Kettler came to Alaska in 2003 to fulfill the lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. While earning his undergraduate degrees from the University of Alaska Anchorage, Jared was a member of the Men’s Basketball team where he first connected with fellow Veritas teammates Shane Rinner and Chad Hufford. From a young age, Jared had a strong interest in investments, and upon graduation in 2008 he joined the portfolio operations team at McKinley Capital Management. Despite working in the institutional investment management industry for over a decade, he always had an interest in working directly with individual investors. Jared earned his MBA in Finance from Chapman University in 2012 and he finally joined the Veritas team in 2021.
Jared is happily married to Ashley, whom he met at UAA, and they have 4 children together (Jonas, Rhiannon, Juniper, and Corbin). When he is not helping people work towards achieving their long-term financial goals, Jared helps manage Ashley’s growing optometry practice.
